Todd is an adult Catholic convert, coming into the church in Camp Crook SD in 1982. He is retired from the US Forest Service where he worked in forestry, minerals management and public affairs from 1967 to 2004. Todd then worked at a Colorado nursery and as a janitor before he and Barb moved back to the Black Hills in 2014. This is the third time they have lived in South Dakota. They met at Iowa State and were married in 1973 when he was discharged from the Army and she graduated college. They have 4 children and 6 grandchildren. Both are OLBH lectors and extraordinary ministers and Todd is on the worship commission. He enjoys hiking and exploring the Hills, photography, gardening and reading.
