National Conference on Catholic Youth Ministry
Every two years there is National Conference on Catholic Youth Ministry. This year the conference is in Denver, Colorado. This is a great opportunity for all of those who work with young people to hone up on their skills and learn new and innovative ideas. We are so fortunate to have this conference within driving distance so there is no flight expense to attend. The Diocese of Rapid City is contracting a bus keeping the travel expense at only $50.00 per person. So far there are 25 people attending from this diocese. I would like to issue an invitation to all of those who work with our young people in Our Lady of the Black Hills to attend this conference. The total cost is $475.00 per person (including registration, motel room, and travel). If you would like more information on this conference or would like to sign up to attend, please call Pat Roe at 787-5168 or Contact Pat.
As we engage young people in the challenge of discipleship, we allow them a closer look into the life of Jesus and the mission of the church through the witness of our own lives. We pray that our souls proclaim the greatness of the Lord and that you spirit rejoices in God. We celebrate the magnificence of the gift of our common faith and ministry.

When Kickball Goes Bad
The first annual Kickball Kickoff was a huge success. The teachers
were on one team and the students were on the other. It didn't look
too good for the teachers - strikes, missed catches, and fast kids!
Then the teachers decided to get tough and took over the lead. The
tide was changing, and things were looking up. Then Greg Sass came to
the plate. He kicked the ball and ran towards first. He hit a hole
