WANTED! Are you good with words? Are you clever and witty? Do you have some free time on your hands? If you answered yes (and even if you didn't) you could be just the person we're looking for. This newsletter needs a name, and fast. But we're not looking for any ordinary name; we need a name as unique as the church it's meant for. If you or someone you know has an idea for a name, contact the (temporarily) No Name News at Contact Newsletter Editor or give your idea to Brenda Czmowski with your name and telephone number. A name will be selected and the winner will be acknowledged in our October issue. |

Wednesday Meal Program Due to the overwhelming response last year, OLBH will again be serving a meal to students and teachers on Wednesday night before class. The meal is served from 6:15 - 6:55, with approximately 50 - 60 people participating in the program. Providing these meals takes many volunteers. Each week, 3 families are asked to plan, cook, and serve the meal. This is a great opportunity for your family to provide a service to our parish and at the same time get to know other families at OLBH. The first meal will be served on Wednesday, October 2. *PLEASE SIGN UP AT THE TABLE IN THE GATHERING SPACE OF THE CHURCH. |

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me."

Holy Water: A liquid whose chemical formula is H2OLY. Recessional Hymn: The last song, often sung more quietly, since many of the people have already left. Incense: Holy Smoke! Jesuits: An order of priests known for founding colleges with good basketball teams. Justice: When kids have kids of their own. Procession: The ceremonial formation at the beginning of Mass consisting of altar servers, the lector, the celebrant, and late parishioners looking for seats. Relics: People who have been going to church for so long, they actually know when to sit, kneel and stand. Jesus and Moses play golf every Saturday with whomever they can find. One Saturday Moses tees off and sees his ball heading straight for the water trap. Moses quickly raises his golf club and makes a parting motion and the water separates to allow the ball to roll through to the green beyond. Jesus then walks up to the tee and takes his shot. His ball also heads straight for the water trap, he raises his hand and his ball bounces and rolls across the surface of the water as if it were ground, to the green beyond. Jesus and Moses then stand back to watch their third partner shoot. He tees off and his shot veers wildly soaring over the fence bounces across a street, breaks a window of a house. The sounds of things breaking are heard and suddenly the golf ball comes shooting out the chimney rolls down the roof, bounces back across the street and over the fence back onto the course and lands in the water trap, where it is immediately swallowed by a frog. The next second an eagle swoops down and grabs the frog and begins to fly away with it. The frog croaks in fear and the golf ball pops out and falls down where it bounces once and then go into the hole for a hole in one. Jesus and Moses have stood and watched the whole thing and Moses leans over to Jesus and whispers, boy I hate playing with your Dad. |
