Our Lady of the Black Hills is a caring community of believers in Christ sharing the journey to eternal life. We are nourished through our sacramental way of life. As a Catholic family we learn, pray, play and worship together. In living the teachings of Jesus, we strive to be loving servants to all.

Goals and Objectives
WORD: To promote living the Word of God through our Catholic faith.
- Encourage and support parents in the faith formation of their children.
- Provide and promote whole community catechesis.
- Foster and plan an ongoing program to welcome back inactive Catholics and to continue to invite others to join us our Catholic faith.
- Continue to provide spiritual and social events and activities for all parishioners.
WORSHIP: To strengthen the spiritual life within the parish community through active worship.
- Promote greater understanding of the Liturgy/mass.
- Increase understanding and appreciation of the Sacraments.
- Encourage and invite a greater participation in the ministries within our Liturgy/Mass.
- Provide ongoing opportunities to learn different forms of prayer.
SERVICE: To promote the Catholic social teachings through service to others.
- Provide opportunities to learn Catholic Social Teachings.
- Provide opportunities for families and parish community to actively participate in Catholic Social Teachings.
- Determine method or structure needed to promote Catholic Social Teachings.
- Prioritize Catholic Social Teachings for parish.
ADMINISTRATION: To manage the resources of the parish.
- Develop and maintain a financial plan.
- Encourage and invite ongoing formation of stewardship as a way of parish life.
- Develop and implement an effective Parish Communication Plan.
- Develop and implement a strategic plan for the parish physical plant.
